We are now renting premium helmets. Read below for all the information about renting them to customers.
Premium Helmet Rentals
Please use the following procedure when renting Premium Rental Helmets
1. Scan the barcode for the “Plan Nine Premium Rental Helmet”. SKU # 147131
2. With a dry erase marker fill out the “Premium Rental Helmet Check In/Out” sheet found on the front of the daily work binder with the appropriate information. If the sheet is missing or damaged another can be downloaded here. USE A DRY ERASE MARKER TO FILL OUT SHEET
- Date: the date of the rental
- Time: the time of the rental
- Helmet Number: found on the back of the rental helmet (if the number is worn or no longer legible put a new label on it
- Helmet Color: the color of the helmet
- Customer Name: the first and last name of the customer renting the helmet
- Check Out: have the customer personally initial the box signifying they rented the helmet
- Check In: when the helmet is returned by the customer have them personally initial the box signifying they returned the helmet
3. At the end of the day ensure that all helmets have been returned and then wipe the “Premium Rental Helmet Check In/Out” sheet off for the next day.
What to do if a Helmet is Not Returned
If there are any helmets that have not been returned at the end of the day double check all helmet numbers to ensure there was not a clerical error. If the helmet is not found send a message via the “Employee Contact Form” with the the following information:
- Customer name
- Customer ID number (found in the POS System)
- Helmet Number
- Helmet size
- Helmet Color
Helmet Security Items
Please ensure all helmets, both “Rental” and Premium Rental” have the following security items affixed to each helmet at all times.
- Rivet at end of male buckle strap to ensure buckle does not fall off
- Rental helmet sticker affixed to both sides of the helmet
- Security tag attached to the upper part of the helmet strap
- Helmet number/size affixed to the back of the helmet (“Premium Rental Helmets” only)
