Text Blast Sign Up

We are pushing for patrons to sign up for out text blast service.  This service will send out text blasts about upcoming events, product sales, and other important things we are doing at Plan Nine.  We will also be able to send alerts about things that come up last minute, like athlete appearances and snow day openings.

I have put out twitter, Facebook, and instagram posts with information about the sign up as well as placed signage in the store.  The current promotion gives anyone new who signs up a free regular  session to Plan Nine within 30 days of the text receipt.  Below is what the text they receive will look like.

Please note the following when giving free sessions with this text.

• they must present their phone with the message on it to receive the free session
• only one free session per message displayed
• the session is only valid for their next session (for example, if they sign up at the register when they arrive for a session they must come back to use the free session, they cannot use it to pay for the session they are currently in the park for)
• the free session expires 30 days from the date they received it
• this is only for new text message blast sign ups, they will not get a message sent to their phone if they have signed up in the past
• this is good for a regular 2 hour session only ($12 value)
• make sure they delete the message when it is redeemed (if they cannot delete it just make sure they know it is a one time use coupon)
• use SKU # 146435 to ring in the session discount

Please encourage everyone who comes in to sign up.  This is one of the best methods of marketing out there right now and we want to do our best to get all our patrons on the list.

Spring Break Ramp Camp

We are going to try and do a Spring Break Ramp Camp this year.  It may be tough as most schools will be making up snow days during their regularly scheduled spring breaks but I figured we'd give it a shot and see if we get any enrollment.

Sign up can be done online or in store.  To sign up in store please be sure to fill out a camp registration form and attach a copy of the receipt to it and drop it in my inbox.

The cost will be $164.99 until March 7th and goes up to $184.99 after that.  Customers can sign up anytime including the day of camp.

Presidents Day Sale and Hours

We will be open at 10am on Presidents Day.

We will also be running a special on All Day Sessions.  They will be $15 plus tax.

Valentine's Day All Nighter

We will be having our regularly scheduled All Nighter this friday.  Since it is Valentine's Day we will be doing a special promotion.  Anyone who brings in a Valentine (homemade, store bough, as long as it isn't made there on the spot) for their favorite staff member will receive $5 off the All Nighter price.

There will be a prize for the employee that gets the most Valentines so tell all your friends.

Premium Rental Helmets

We are now renting premium helmets. Read below for all the information about renting them to customers.

Premium Helmet Rentals

Please use the following procedure when renting Premium Rental Helmets

1. Scan the barcode for the “Plan Nine Premium Rental Helmet”.  SKU # 147131

2. With a dry erase marker fill out the “Premium Rental Helmet Check In/Out” sheet found on the front of the daily work binder with the appropriate information.  If the sheet is missing or damaged another can be downloaded here.  USE A DRY ERASE MARKER TO FILL OUT SHEET

• Date: the date of the rental
• Time: the time of the rental
• Helmet Number: found on the back of the rental helmet (if the number is worn or no longer legible put a new label on it
• Helmet Color: the color of the helmet
• Customer Name: the first and last name of the customer renting the helmet
• Check Out: have the customer personally initial the box signifying they rented the helmet
• Check In: when the helmet is returned by the customer have them personally initial the box signifying they returned the helmet

3. At the end of the day ensure that all helmets have been returned and then wipe the “Premium Rental Helmet Check In/Out” sheet off for the next day.  

What to do if a Helmet is Not Returned

If there are any helmets that have not been returned at the end of the day double check all helmet numbers to ensure there was not a clerical error.  If the helmet is not found send a message via the “Employee Contact Form” with the the following information:

• Customer name
• Customer ID number (found in the POS System)
• Helmet Number
• Helmet size
• Helmet Color

Helmet Security Items

Please ensure all helmets, both “Rental” and Premium Rental” have the following security items affixed to each helmet at all times.

• Rivet at end of male buckle strap to ensure buckle does not fall off
• Rental helmet sticker affixed to both sides of the helmet
• Security tag attached to the upper part of the helmet strap
• Helmet number/size affixed to the back of the helmet (“Premium Rental Helmets” only)
