RC Cars

I have had a recent request to let a customer drive his RC car in the skatepark.  I told him this would only be acceptable is there was no one else in the skatepark.  Please read the email I sent him posted below:

Ben,
I am fine with you driving your RC car at the park as long as the park is entirely empty.  There are many reasons I cannot let you drive when anyone else is around but more than anything it has to do with our insurance.  If anything were to happen to any park participants while you were driving your RC car it would void our policy should they decide to seek legal action.  You can call the park during off peak times (mon-thur, 10am-3pm) to see if the park is empty.  If it is you are welcome to drive your car on the course.  If anyone shows up to use the park during that time you will be asked to leave and depending on the time you are here we may or may not issue you a refund.  I apologize for it being this way but the priority is our skate/bmx participants.  I will be posting this on our staff blog so everyone that works here will know the situation.  Thanks for contacting me, have a happy new year.

Holiday Ramp Camp Cancelled

We have cancelled the Holiday Ramp Camp due to lack of participation.  Please do not sell any of these or offer them to any customers.

Holiday Party

We are having a Plan Nine Staff/Team/Volunteer party on Sunday, Dec. 23rd after the park closes at 7pm.  There will be food, games, and sessions.  Everyone should be there, it will be a good time.

Plan Nine Stuffed Stocking

The Plan Nine Stuffed Stocking is back.  Any 5 Plan Nine Decks, in a stocking for $150.  The a $30 discount and comes in a cool ass stocking.  The stockings are on the back room on the shelf.  Make sure when you grip the boards you keep the backing of the grip to put between the decks when you stuff them in the stocking so they don't get scratched up.  The discount is $55 total when you use the following SKU:
SKU # 112121
Do not double discount this!  Only one discount on the whole order, the $55 Stuffed Stocking Discount.  If the total is less than $150 plus tax then you are doing it wrong.

Date on Wristbands

You need to be writing the date on all wristbands that you sell/give out for any session or special event. I attached a picture of how and where you should be writing the date.  Make sure you write it across the perforated part on the back of the adhesive.  Do it before you pull the backing from the adhesive and put it on the wrist of the participant.  This will make it easier for the volunteers and anyone else to check wristbands properly.  It will also deter people from leaving wristbands on for multiple days to try to get free sessions.

Volunteer Clock In

All the volunteers that were at the last meeting should be in the system as of now.  When a volunteer comes in for a shift you need to check them in and clock them in.  The clock in system should have their name in the drop-down list.  The password for every volunteer is:
volunteer1
Use this to clock them in and out everyday.  It is important that you clock them in personally so you can be sure they are arriving and leaving at the right times and being checked out by you.  You can run reports for them to see how many hours they've worked at any time.
If someone is not in the system please send me a message with their full name and the shift they are working for the day.  I will get them in the system and make sure their hours are entered as well.
